New Features in Re:Member 6.0 - Coming Soon!

Re:Member 6.0 represents a significant advancement, with improvements to many existing features and the addition of a number of new features to make it even easier to cater for the information requirements of your church.

Re:Member 6.0 has been re-developed to take advantage of a number of recent technologies which significantly improve the performance and reliability of the product.

If you are familiar with Re:Member version 5, here is a summary of the key features that have been added or improved in version 6:

Members and Families

  • Members and Families are now displayed in a single multi-paned window, making it easier to view and modify the properties of a family and its members. 
  • The Member Finder allows you to quickly search for members by name, address, contact details or date modified, and the search settings can be saved as a Query for later use. 
  • A new Family can be automatically created when a new Member is added, making data entry easier and more efficient. 
  • Members may be given a last name that is different from the Family name, to accommodate families having multiple surnames.
  • Families may have both a residential address and a mailing address.
  • Contributions allow you to track tithes, gifts and loans made from your members.
  • Archived Members now retain all of their associated  information including group involvement and milestone achievements, giving you a more comprehensive historical record of past members.

Organisation Units

  • Organisation Units are shown in a multi-paned window, making it easier to view and modify the properties of Groups and Ministries.
  • Unit Placements allow you to allocate Members to Groups and Ministries automatically, based upon their properties.

Meetings

  • The Meetings Calendar enables you to schedule meetings, either for specific groups or for special events.
  • Meeting Schedules allow you to create a recurring series of Meetings following a pattern that you define.
  • Meeting attendance can be tracked and used to create useful group attendance and participation reports.
  • Meetings can be exported to Microsoft Outlook to create an instant on-line calendar for your staff.

Data Sources and Reports

  • Standard Reports, Document Merges, Custom Reports and Export Templates are shown in a single multi-paned window, making it easier to find the report or Output Template you are looking for.
  • Queries and Reports now execute up to 10 times faster, and are run in the background so you can continue to work while the results are being prepared.
  • Results displayed in the Member Finder can be saved as a new Query or Selection, making it easier to create Data Sources for your reports.

Other Improvements

  • Support for SQL Server databases has significantly improved.
  • Program Source Code is available so you can make changes to screens and reports, modify existing processes or add entirely new features to suit your needs!
